It’s as easy as heading to our homepage and clicking ‘Apply now’ – you’ll be asked for a few details, then we’ll send you an email to confirm. From then, you can log in any time up to the submission deadline to complete your entry!
(If you’ve received an email telling you you’ve been nominated – congratulations! Click the link in the email to set up your account, if you don’t already have one, and you’ll be ready to go). If you want to read a little more about the process, click here for our 'How does it work' page.
No – while we love when industry peers nominate each other to recognise their achievements, it’s not a requirement.
No – nominations just serve as a way of prompting someone to complete their own entry, and our judges and broker voters won’t see how many nominations you get. It’s the quality of your application that matters!
All our campaign dates are on the timeline here – finalists are announced once the judges have made their shortlist selections, so keep your eyes peeled on !
You’ll receive an email from us (to the email address you submitted your application with) on the announcement date, so keep checking your inbox – plus we’ll update the website showing the finalists, and we’ll be posting across our social media too. Why not follow us on LinkedIn here?
No – the Financial Reporter Awards are free to enter.
We know that plenty of people now use generative AI software as a useful tool to help them organise their thoughts and put things into words – so go ahead, but be mindful that our judges want to read what makes you unique and worthy of winning an award, so applications that are personal to you and your achievements will stand out. Keep your entries specific to you, and make sure whatever you submit is packed full of personal detail, facts or figures that back up your achievements to make the most of your chance to impress the judges!
There’s no ‘real’ minimum – we have a 10-word minimum to ensure something is written in your application, but otherwise you can write as little or as much as you need! Keep in mind that more does not always mean better: you can use bullet points to highlight the important facts at the start of your entry, for example. Think about making it as easy as possible for judges to see the important information: your achievements and what makes you a potential winner.
You’ll have access to your entry up until the submission date – after this, it will be sent to our judges.
You can’t upload files, but you can add links to external content in your entry – so you could link to news articles, videos, PDFs hosted on your company website, etc.
The Financial Reporter Awards is the only awards programme that engages directly with brokers across the mortgage, protection and specialist lending space. By partnering with #FRA26, you will receive unrivalled brand exposure across social media, our website, and in supporting articles on Financial Reporter, as well as the opportunity to present your sponsored award on the day!
On top of this, you’ll be showing your support for the voices of over twenty-thousand brokers, rewarding those whom they deem to be the very best in their field, and highlighting your commitment to helping raise the bar for industry standards.
If you want to get involved, register your interest here or contact sam@barcadia.media.co.uk for more information.
